In order to list your app in the Sendloop App Store, you must comply with the following rules and policies. If, at any time, this ceases to be the case, we may remove your app from the App Store. We will list it again if you make the changes necessary for you to be in compliance with Sendloop policies (our Appliance Team will be available to help you with this).

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact our developers.

  1. Apps should be reasonably unique. If you submit multiple apps and they can be merged, you should do so.
  2. App names may not contain the words "Sendloop," "Octeth", or other generic feature names. For example Subscriber Rating is not allowed, but Subscriber Rating by Acme is.
  3. App descriptions should not be included in the title.
  4. App names should be short and descriptive (preferrably 21 characters or fewer).
  5. Apps must be use Sendloop's OAuth authentication features.
  6. Apps should avoid using sensitive information about Sendloop users.
  7. Apps should be installable from the Sendloop App Store.
  8. Apps should immediate seek authentication using OAuth when a user installs it.
  9. Apps should create user accounts from user information returned by Sendloop's API. We generally do not allow manual signups; contact us if you have any questions.
  10. Apps should use our embedded app SDK if at all possible.
  11. App installation should be quick and straightforward; there should be no user intervention required after he or she clicks Install. The exception is to request authorization permission.
  12. Apps can be listed as free or paid. If the app requires payment, you must clearly explain the pricing scheme (include details on trial periods, monthly fees, fixed rates, etc.).
  13. Until Sendloop's Billing API becomes available, you can use your own payment gateway to receive payments and process orders. Once Sendloop's Billing API becomes available, you may no longer use any other payment gateway.
  14. Your app must do what its description says it does. It should be feature complete, fully functional, and operate as described.
  15. Your app should be bug-free.
  16. You must include your support email address in your app listing, and you must reply to support requests in a timely manner.
  17. You must have documentation for your app.
  18. You must store all passwords securely.
