As your mailing lists larger and larger, you might want to break them down into smaller ones based on factors like location or subscription date. This allows you to do things like direct campaigns toward a particular group of subscribers without requiring you to maintain multiple lists. This process of dividing up a subscriber list is called segmentation.

How to Segment Your Subscriber Lists

After logging in to your Sendloop account, navigate to the Subscriber Management page using the Subscribers link on the navigation bar.

You will see individual boxes, each of which represents a subscription list. Choose the one in which you're interested, and click on its name. This brings you to the Subscriber List Overview page.

Near the bottom right of the Subscriber List Overview page, there's a section for the list's Segments. Click Create a new segment to begin configuring your first segment.

When done, click Create to proceed. You'll return to the Overview page for this subscriber list, and in the Segments section, you'll see your new Segment.
